Invisible Threats: Navigating the Challenges of Detecting and Preventing New POPs in Water

The aim of the roundtable was to address the challenges related to identifying and preventing new POPs Persistent organic pollutants as emerging pollutants in water systems by bringing real-life cases that highlights the intricate connection between water and POPs, emphasizing the urgent need for legislators and countries to address this pressing issue

Tasso High School Celebrates PCTO Course on Environmental Governance!

On June 4th, Tasso High School in Rome culminated its PCTO program with INFO/RAC, showcasing student achievements in environmental governance.
The course equipped students with knowledge of key national & international institutions, focusing on UNEP/Mediterranean Action Plan and the Barcelona Convention. The final event featured student presentations and a panel discussion, fostering collaboration within the school community.
The next steps: A new PCTO experience with another High School for the 2024-2025 school year, but also bring this enriching initiative to other Countries in the Mediterranean Region

Presentation of the WES Project activities in Algeria
